- Jane Button
- Jane Button completed a PhD (2009) at the School of Culture and Communications, the University of Melbourne. Her research investigated the cultural significance of photography’s shift from analogue to digital imaging with respect to artistic practice and social relations. Her background in the Arts includes organising the national tour of the Centre for Contemporary Photography’s 2004 LEICA exhibition alongside professional experience in institutional and private galleries in New Zealand.
An early career researcher Jane now guest lectures and tutors in the Media and Communications department at RMIT University (Melbourne) and has also tutored for a New Media course (Swinburne University) and has presented guest lectures and tutored for the Australian Centre, the University of Melbourne.
